What's up friends?? 

So, the purpose of this blog is to keep everyone CIA'd (informed) on what is going on with us as a crew and with Paradime as a business. However, in an effort to keep this blog from becoming a constant commercial, and to allow the wit, charisma and allure of our respective personalities to charm you, the reader, we will be interspersing posts of a personal, comical or editorial nature in with the "PARTY OR DIE BITCHES!" nature of our usual posts.

So here is the first in a series of

What's a Christmas?

First of all, i wanted to thank that sick guy from the post below me for naming me "fresh kid of the 4th quarter".... although I do agree with the decision, I still appreciate it and am honored to even be considered.

Ok..... back to land. (not sure where that was, could've been air, possibly space)

Im writing to let all the little elves out there know that we at Paradime HATE CHRISTMAS, or at least we hate cheesy Christmas parties. Every year im bombarded by joy, cheer and ugly sweaters, when all i want to do is pollute my body and hallucinate with the ghost of Christmas past without anyone smiling at me!
That is why on December 20th we are throwing an anti-Christmas party at Strangelove.
No mistletoe or eggnog, just booze and belligerence!

We've got some more upcoming news, but It'll have to wait until all the details are ironed out... Let me just say this; that Kash kid is BEAMING...... SHUUUUURE!!

Strange Love / Strange Life

So Paradime Life has been a hop, skip and a jump away from taking this Polak to the mental ward. Shout out to all those who join us on a weekly basis, we know, we suffer too!
This past weekend was off the wall crazy, My man on the 1s n 2s, Dj Karpf, was hittin the tables so hard I assumed his left hand had turrets. Shout out to the Village People, and to Oasis, I too fell of the strangelove stage, just no brother came to save me but after all in order for you all to know you must come check out that strangelove wonderwall!
This is my inaugural post, I would like to welcome you all to the Paradime Life, to the Strange Life.
Shout outs to my man Pantie-O, one of the founding fathers of this Paradime Ent.

Ok, so fress off our crazy Halloween jam, Paradime is back at that ass with another

sick party this saturday night.... 

This week, November 8th is another special edition of "Love the Bomb" at Strangelove with my man Milktings (Chris Bertrand) hosting the shit out of the baddest weekly in town.

We'r gonna need a couple days to get everything up and running, but by the end of the week this will be the official spot for pics from all of our events.

Be sure to tune in to bounce-fm.com each and every Tuesday from 9 -11 pm for DJ KARPF's radio show; "LIVIN LIFE LIVE". It promises to be a crazy 2 hours every fuckin week!

Hey everyone,

From here on out this blog will serve to keep everyone informed on our current and future activities... We are all extremely exited looking to the future, both for our company and as individual sick guys.

However, before we begin living in the present and pontificating on our future we find it necessary to look at our past. So without further ado, and at the risk of getting right up our own asses with pats on our backs, here is a brief view of our most significant milestones and most memorable events...

 

October 14^th 2007

“The Gathering” at Rockwood, or as I like to call it; “Amateur Hour”

This was our first real independent party where we were in control of everything. It took months of prodding to convince Rockwood owner Tommy King to let us throw this party. We basically bullshit him the entire time, never really sure we’d be able to pull it off. Much appreciation goes to Tommy for giving us the chance, and mad props to us for not letting him down (not too much tho, we’re still garbage).

The success of that night gave us the confidence in our abilities to move forward and believe that this could be more than a onetime thing.

 

 

February 8^th 2008

“The Red Carpet Massacre” at West Lounge

After a string of successful parties at Rockwood we received a chance to throw a party at a new venue, West Lounge. The Red Carpet Massacre showed that we could fill a new venue with a seriously sexy crowd, proving that we officially knew what the fuck we were doing, and that we actually had a following... In our eyes the party was a major step for us in terms of marketing and pushing our own brand; we were able to draw the crowd we wanted and gave them exactly what was promised.

 

 

Summer 2008

“Maturity, Growth, DJ KARPF and Strangelove”

The summer of 08 was a period of significant transition for Paradime.

The 90 or so days between the last week of May and the last week of August were probably the most eventful in terms of choices, growth and evolution since the establishment of Paradime.

At the beginning of the summer we were still essentially a crew of barbacks with a decent rep for throwing kick ass parties. Throughout the summer we, as a group and individually, worked hard to refine our image and by the end became known for our underground sound, hot crowd and the unique flavour of our events.

By August, DJ KARPF had created a considerable buzz for himself and Paradime became Saturday night residents at Strangelove, a new venue on College Street.

As a holy trinity, we witnessed Strangelove become one of the city’s hottest venues, DJ KARPF became one of the industry’s pre-eminent dj’s and Paradime became synonymous with “SICK PARTY!”

 

 

September 20^th 2008

Vice & Virtue Official Launch Party

“Diversify Bitch” aka “Copious Amounts of Dopeness”

Our partnership with Toronto designer Taylor Swan and his clothing line Vice & Virtue, marked our first foray into the other end of our business; marketing and advertising.

This event was an unbridled success in every way possible. The party was absolutely ridiculous, Mr Swan received the recognition he wanted and deserved and Paradime metaphorically entered a spaceship and blasted off never to return to land.

 

 

October 11^th 2008

Sex Show

“Pussy Poppin on a Handstand”

Pornstars, Lube, Sex Toys and enough Condoms to last me a month!

On October 11^th we hosted the kickoff party to Canada’s largest sex industry trade show, The Everything to do with Sex Show.

This was a wild night to say the least, with some of the porn industry’s hottest starlets in attendance, free sex toys, movies and perv paraphernalia for all and some of the hottest fun this side of hedonism, Paradime and the show’s director Mikey Singer showed everyone how sexy sex could be!
